The numbering system outlined below is used to identify product part numbers currently available for Standard SCSI cable assemblies.

   Cable Length

Cable lengths are measured in metres but are shown as a 3 or 4 figure number corresponding to centimetre units i.e.

100 = 1.0m
300 = 3.0m
1500 = 15.0m

Preferred lengths and configurations are available on request, however length limits are currently 1.0m (minimum length) and 25.0m (maximum).

   Ferrite

Cable assemblies with ferrites are suffixed with a -F.

NB. Ferrites cannot be used on assemblies shorter than 1.0m.

For Example :

A 68Pos Male (Molded) to 68Pos Male (Molded) SCSI cable with ferrite beads, 3m in length,  has the following part number :
